Power Over Ethernet
Simplifying the power delivery to networked audio products, Power over Ethernet completes the promise of one cable to deliver audio, power, and control. Our PoE solutions are designed specifically for audio products, focused on ensuring the best audio signal output while supporting up to PoE++.
PoE (Power over Ethernet) IEEE802.3bt
Complies with the IEEE802.3bt specification and provides signature and control circuitry to give full backwards compatibility on PoE standards. When the inputs are connected to a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), they will automatically present a valid signature to the PSE. The equipment will then recognize that a valid PD is connected to that line and commence classification.
Input Power Classification
POE-PD90 is a Type 4 - Class 8 PD requesting the highest nominal amount of power from an IEEE802.3bt PSE as shown in table below, and POE-PD90 also can be compatible with IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.at standards.
Input Voltage
Input voltage range 36V to 57V by PSE.
Output Configuration
The module has two outputs which must be connected either in parallel to provide 12V or in series to provide 24V. Vout2 tracks the Vout1. The use of the two outputs separately is not recommended due to voltage regulation issues.
